  • Meganmbustillo

  • Mari J. H. A.
"Walking dogs around and lots of room for them to run and play . Dogs must be licensed, but is very affordable. Neighbors keep eyes open when loose dogs are about to help them get back home. "
  • Michelle A.
"Peaceful place and not to far from stores. It’s a small town with the back woods feel to it. I prefer to live out here then in oswego "
  • Cherrie V.

"small town feel with everything you need within a 10 minute drive. easy access to syracuse. the college keeps it busy during the school year"
  • Def One
"I lived here half my life and besides the college kids causing a ruckus, the city is pretty sweet, if you are an alcoholic.... There is a bar on every corner. Welcome to the black hole of the universe, Oswego, NY. Oh, and beware of Harbor"mess" in July-August. It get's insane."
  • Richard B.
"quite nice neighborhood many pet owners and if some one dog get loose the every one pitch in to help catch. "
  • Conceptual
"I’ve lived in the township of Oswego for over 25 years. Our area has the peaceful beauty of country living, yet less than 5 miles from the college. Although most of the lawns are measured in acres, all the neighbor’s mow their yards on a regular basis. In the rural area, there are no sidewalks, but that does not stop people from walking or biking. Neighbors are friendly and eager to lend a helping hand. Excellent place to raise a family."
  • Mascaraeyez
"Small city can walk to some places need vehicle for others. quiet, low crime, friendly people. Have some major retail centers here such as Walmart Lowes Price Chopper TJ Maxx Rite Aid ect."
  • Mskmicca
"This is a college town. Finding a home is difficult to find if you're looking to settle down here. I wouldn't recommend it. I love the small town feel. I love the old homes but mamy of them are run down and people can't afford to fix them. Well paying jobs are hard to find around here also."
  • Peg l.
"Progressive Block parties each fall, bike races and Lake Ontario. There is also a kids summer camp."
  • Andrea
"I love it here impossible to deny its beauty Mayor is awesome and he is improving our community well enough to make me feel good about my community "
  • Cstone5390
"Obnoxious college kids are everywhere. It’s horrible. Loud parties, fights in the street, you name it. "
  • Bjung
"Its a small town, I will say there are a lot of college students that come here, and can make it a little hectic at times. "
  • Bc B.
"Great place to raise a family. Stunningly beautiful in the summer - unbelievable snowfall in the winter (140 inches last year). Hockey is BIG here. SUNY Oswego has an excellent facility and is a good community partner. Many opportunities for volunteerism. Scriba, Oswego city, Minetto, Oswego Town - are all desirable and Scriba has the lowest taxes currently. "
