Me parece una muy buena escuela para mi hijo

Hollywood Park Elementary is a wonderful, charming neighborhood school. Both of my daughters have and continue to excel academically. The Principal Ms. Luke, along with her staff, are caring and compassionate individuals.

I worked as an aid at this school a year ago. From the principals, teachers, and support staff - they are a well-oiled machine, and take every opportunity to learn and grow for the betterment of students, staff, and parents. From the beginning of the day parents and students are greeted by both principals and staff to help organize the flow of the drop off zone. Many teachers have worked in the same classroom for 30+ years - that is loyalty, love, and stability the community thrives in. All teachers dress and act professionally (not like many other school where staff dress like the students). The support staff work tightly with seamless support from principals and office staff to ensure every recess, lunch, and transitionary environment is safe for the kids with plenty of well-maintained play equipment/games for all students. Children with high needs are treated as a top priority with careful attention to their personal needs, traumas, and IEPs. The Vice Principal was especially impressive during my introduction to the campus and treats all new staff with equal attention - 1 on 1 guided tour, 1 week of training/shadowing with her best staff, and always made time for my questions during her office hours. Nothing fell through the cracks under the Principal/VP's watch. I would love for my daughter to attend this school soon!
