"On Thursdays they have events at the common and do special things during holiday. It feels very neighborly "
  • Budha01us
"Nothing really safe walking and people are friendly and always say hi. We also have a lot of kids in the neighborhood "
  • Colleen F.
"it's not bad. quiet. neighbors are nice. no street lights and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and no crime in this area. "
  • Eduard N.
"I see people walking their dogs all the time around here. The Middle School is very close and is a great place to bring your gldig."
  • Vcasey87
"Sidewalks aren’t common, street lights are far and few between. There are open fields and it’s not crowded, so that’s an upside. The dog park is back behind a trail and it’s awkward, has an area of rocks and then it drops off. Just outside of the dog park is a nice river and picnic tables. It’s a cute area. "
  • Audrey L.
"We've lived here only for a short time and absolutely love it. Very private, plenty of room, no street lights, not too close to the neighbors, yet very close to the major roads, all shopping, work and family. It's a great location!"
  • Audrey L.
"It's beautiful country living, very private, but near everything you need including major roads. "
  • Meech320
"My parents live on Govenors Lake and I used to live in Raymond. Governors lake is GREAT for fishing, but it's a small lake so its not appropriate for a large motor boat. Great for swimming. Low crime rate. You should consider having a generator for winter storms. The roads by the lake can be difficult to get by with the snow, but fine the rest of the year. Many churches in town and sense of community. Great local Vet! Great restaurants in town and in Candia. If you want to live in the country, especially on a lake, but close to civilization, you will LOVE living here "
  • lauriepatey
"Raymond is a great family friendly community."
  • gaylebresciabrown
"Lots of trees, not many restaurants nearby but the ones that are there are good. Not good for singles that want an exciting single life but great for kids, pets, families and retirees."
