Cruel and heartless administration and NOT a supportive environment. My daughter’s father died and she missed 4 days of school, and I picked her up 45 minutes early one day for a therapy appointment because it was a very traumatic experience for my daughter. I communicated the situation very clearly with the school so they were well aware of it. The school then sent home a very religious condolences card along with two letters signed by the principal stating that because my daughter missed 4 days of school she now needs a doctor’s note on day one for every single absence. So on top of losing her father in a very traumatic way, she now apparently is not allowed to have any sicknesses, and also is not allowed to go to therapy because they don’t have any weekend appointments at her therapist’s office and her therapist is not a doctor. This was in addition to the 2 text messages and 1 phone call per day about her attendance during those 4 days.Also, my child has had a substitute teacher for a third of the year and the school has not shared the substitute’s name or how to contact her. My daughter received an award for top grades so her academic progress is clearly not the issue. The principal is just cruel for the sake of being cruel.

I feel like this school is genuinely one of the worst the adults not the teachers but the guards they are very rude to kids who are trying there best the teachers don't really care about bullying and coming from a student a teacher did not acknowledge the bullying until they came in crying but the counselors are very good with there job and also leadership they give kids leadership when they don't need it because then they get a high on bosing people around but other then that I would not recommend this school for anyone

In our family's experience, Pinacate Middle School has been an extremely disappointing place to attend. Our child was subjected to severe bullying that has had such a serious emotional impact they now require therapy, and we do not feel the school provided the safe and supportive environment every student deserves. The bathrooms were often unpleasant due to strong odors, and classrooms were frequently disrupted by students who treated class like a joke, ignored teachers, and made it difficult for others to learn. We also witnessed a lack of respect toward teachers, with students openly disrespecting them. Based on what our family experienced, we believe the school has significant issues that need to be addressed, and its public 2.7 rating reflects that many people have concerns and believe there is substantial room for improvement also the school
