The furnished room contains: queen-sized bed, desk, chair, drawer, dresser, coat hanger, shelves, lamp, mirrors.

This is the only room on the first floor, so the bathroom on the first floor will be basically used by you only.

HOUSE: The room is part of a large 6-bedroom and 3-bathroom classical rowhouse. Common areas include: spacious and bright living room (with TV and sofas), kitchen (with all utilities included), and back patio (with outdoor table and chairs).
Roommates are all very nice and clean young professionals working in DC, currently 2 guys and 2 girls.
Please no pets and no smoking in the house.

LOCATION: The house is located in a very great and convenient location near the Shaw metro. There are many bus stops around, and you can bike to downtown in 10 minutes.
This rent is a very good deal for a room in such a convenient and popular location in DC, as it also covers all utilities.

RESTAURANTS, BARS AND ENTERTAINMENT: You can find a lot of pubs, bars, shops and restaurants near the house and with a 3 minutes walking to U St (popular for dining, nightlife and entertainment).

GROCERY: Giant grocery store (10 minutes walk), Whole Foods (3 minutes walk), Farmer's Market (one block away on Sundays).
