"There are none for my neighborhood and not many for the city as a whole. There are a few city events at the beach, but that's it."
  • Ty Holston
"Yes thisthis area is good for dog owners, considering most the neighbors in the neighborhood have dogs or pets of some kind."
  • Donald Watson
"I see people walking dogs often, but the people themselves are not always friendly. A lot of people are not good at picking up their pets' waste. "

"It’s important for parents to know the pool rules in most areas, especially what time their kids should turn off their sound systems and quit the yelling. No kids should be partying in pool areas after certain time at night. "
  • Andrew Miranda
"It’s quiet and less than ten minutes drive to the beach… it has every store you can imagine just in a close drive time. Currently it’s getting very expensive and people that are retired unfortunately will need to move and of course the Rich will take over and the working class will have to move to the middle of nowhere. "
  • Trulia User

"There are a lot are retired older people in this town and also a lot of seasonal visitors. so you don't see a lot of young people around here, mostly 50 and older."
  • Savannah S.
"In my neighborhood there are a lot of people that do not use leashes for their dogs, sometimes without the owner present. There is a lot of space to walk your dog though and most other dogs in the area are friendly and not aggressive. "
  • 5000romanus
"my neighborhood is good, but there are some that move in the post office boxes, they already moved and stole a checkbook"
  • Donald W.
"I work very nearby, so my commute isn't bad. Going down Hillsboro in the morning or afternoon is nuts, though."
  • Randallbenston
"One of the nicest, cleanest beachfront communities with nice restaurants and nice events. It’s progressed and grown nicely over the years."
  • Michael F.
"Overall Deerfield Beach is a place full of positive energy and people are happy to be here. In my opinion, this area is a hidden gem of a beach town that isn’t too big and isn’t too small. If I did have children, I would love to raise them in an area like this. The weather is perfect almost all year long, and during the hurricane season at least we get plenty of notice to get out of harm’s way, and people come together and help their neighbors regardless of their differences. Unfortunately nowadays that is hard to find in some parts of the United States as of late, so by all means, if you’re looking for a place that is close to it all, has great parks, beaches, restaurants, bars, shopping, great schools, public transportation, friendly people and safe clean streets, come to Deerfield Beach but don’t tell too many people unless they would be great neighbors too!! "
  • Rolando S.
"It is a good neighborhood. Very close to different supermarkets and highways. There is a big park close by "
  • Sharon Y. D.
"There are plenty of dogs in the area. Different breeds. Most owner do clean up after their dogs and then some don’t "
  • gc
"people walk there dogs day and night. and woofing waters is always clean and people are friendly and dogs love it"

"Good access to Sawgrass and Turnpike off Hillsboro Blvd. and Lyons Road to the West, and I95 to the East."
