About this House

This one-bedroom is immaculately clean and updated, in a cozy boutique six-floor building with elevator. Tenants are professionals, respectful, and quiet. Located in the back of the building on the top floor, the apartment is north and south facing (towards building's inner courtyard) with exposed brick, hardwood floors, excellent windows and light and, despite being on a busy street with nearby hospitals, very quiet. The bedroom (with room for a queen-size bed) is quiet, with views over a leafy park; it has a built-in small desk/bookshelf. The kitchen is small but functional, the bathroom features a stone-wall shower/tub with rain shower head and window. Ample closet space with hall closet, two two full closets in bedroom plus large overhead storage space. Through-wall air conditioning units in both main room and bedroom keep the apartment very cool. No laundry in the building, but a very good laundromat is just around the corner (also offering wash/fold services). The apartment is located in a busy area close to everything: restaurants, bars, Fairway, AMC, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods grocery stores, Madison Square Park, 6 and NRW trains within 5-10 min walk, Citibikes 2 mins away, the East River running trail. You can be basically anywhere in Manhattan in 25 minutes.
