3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a teacher in a special education classroom. It was the worst teaching experience of my life. The students were warehoused with all the bullies and students with aggressive behaviors in one room. When I tried to utilize administration intervention I was told it was my responsibility and do not refer students to the office. There is no reasonable system of discipline. No detention system. No meaningful positive reinforcements of good behavior. Teachers are on their own and Admin does not support the classroom. I now am in a new school which has shown me how it can be done. The children have a wide variety of activities and resources available to them thanks to the funding of the parent club. I made a group of friends on my first day here I love it so much and yes they do give you homework not a lot but also not a little bit. I also haven't experienced any bullying and if there was bullying the teacher would handle it perfectly. "Good access to public transportation. Sidewalks are cracked and uneven due to tree roots and lack of maintenance or repair from the local government agency. Forget pushing a stroller on them & the only alternative is walking in the street! With the amount of taxes Napa residents pay, residents deserve better maintenance of our streets and sidewalks! The sidewalks in this neighborhood have been in need of repair for 30 plus years!"
