Built in 1914-17, The EB Green Residence houses 31 of the finest Buffalo and Allentown apartments. Located in the heart of a beautiful district of homes dating to the mid-19th century, it is minutes from the life and work of downtown Buffalo. These North Street Residents in Allentown includes gated parking, a courtyard and a wealth of gracious comfort. A genuine prize of a building, it is kept as such. Restoration and upkeep is done to the original specs with the original materials. The courtyard walk is of thick Medina stone and hardwood moldings are custom cut to match the originals. To call these residents "rentals apartments" is an understatement, they are well loved by both the residents and Buffalo Management, and it shows. Residents in apartments with fireplaces and are welcome to choose from Buffalo Management's selection of antique andirons and fireplace screens, all selected to be appropriate to the building. The same can be said for the light fixtures and doorknobs, the Steuben glass, virtually everything you touch is as it should have been in Green's day. Modern for its day as built, these North Street Buffalo Residents held many modern ideas; EB Green set up on-site water treatment, and built in "Drying Rooms" in the basement for the laundry maids. No one in the building has gone without the best for the day, and the fact remains, as kitchens are tastefully updated, repairs made, and people are satisfied in calling the EB Green residence home.

"This is a unique neighborhood with lots of people walking, talking, enjoying outside. There are many historical houses and wonderful restaurants. We love it. "
  • Trulia User
"Sidewalks are unkempt, both in terms of trash/needles and snow removal. Loose dogs are often an issue here and have a tendency to attack. "
  • Trulia User
"It’s just that everyone is so welcoming and so extremely friendly. Everyone looks out for one another, and we tend to stay in touch with one another. Communication amongst community is wonderful and has been really helpful. "
  • Rose J.
"I usually Lyft or Uber. There are many busses on my street to take. Never taken one before. Some people in the area also bike around I’ve seen them chained up. A good spot for getting around "
  • Wefa24
"Nice area to walk you dog on a leash. Clean area. Good people. Nice park. Good streets. "
  • Rose J.
"A very quiet morning bustling afternoon and rambunctious nights around here for sure. I don’t go out much but it’s a very happening area if you’re a night time person. Just watch your belongings. People beg at night. "
  • Rose J.
"Most dogs in the area are very nice to people and other dogs from what I’ve seen. I wish there were nicer receptacles and doggy bag stations in case anyone forgets hopefully one day. Dogs are allowed in the patio area of perks and few other locations down Elmwood and elsewhere. It’s very chaotic on the weekends walking your dog when the bars are just closing around 3am and 4am. After 6pm don’t be surprised if while walking your dog someone asks you for money. That’s just the way it is lately. I never walk my dog with valuables on me for this reason. Lovely area for a walk especially on summer days and afternoons due to the well maintained gardens and parks. "
  • Julian B.
"theres nowhere to park when i come home never in my neighborhood an i would rather walk to work ib order to have a parking space when i return home fromcc"
  • not from here
"The drunks peeing in the streets in st Patrick’s day , the illegal speeding down the streets at any time of the day or night , "
  • Jak K.
"Great social scene, restaurant/food options, and presentation is neat and tidy. Very easy on the eyes in this neighborhood."
  • Rich S
"Although the neighbors generrally talk and lolligag, I have never seen any of neighbors celebrate the scary orange president, even on Hallowern. "
  • Janele C.
"Great access to public transportation. Minutes away from many bars, restaurants, and small business shops and boutiques! "
  • Janele C.
"This is a high volume traffic area. There aren’t many parks or play areas for children, but it is very close to canal side and the outer harbor is less than 5 miles away "
  • James
"Great side streets for dog walking. Lots of friendly owners. Many tiny parks and unique houses to see. Probably avoid Allen St as it’s mostly bars/restaurants but surrounding areas are swell! "
  • James
"If your yard is not fenced in you may not always like the things your kids see on the street. Not a high crime area. "
  • Mrscottannese
"Very dog friendly neighborhood. All the dog owners tend to know each other and other people always want to see or pet dogs. "
  • heybae66
"quite good atmosphere there are friendly neighbors pets allowed low crime rate , love living in this community "
  • Julian B.
"I lived here for a year it's a quit but friendly area but I gave a 7 yr old boy an there's no kids in the area so I'm looking to move I'm looking for a kid friendly neighborhood some where like north buffalo area "
  • Zoey M. C.
"There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, it’s close to downtown and it’s a pretty safe neighborhood, it’s also pretty quiet on my street "
  • mpkarrer
"Just a great neighborhood. A little stressful if no off street parking. It is a entertainment and historic preservation district, so just be aware of the little challanges associated with living here. If you want to live near downtown and the medical corridor this is it."
