10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been at this school since kindergarten and graduated from 8th grade recently. One major issue at this school is that teachers play favoritism a lot. Throughout my elementary and middle school years here I have seen many teachers either give special attention or disregard other students. Especially the musical theatre teachers, I was in the musical theatre program for 6 years, they play favoritism and choose students who have ties with the school, or popular students, for lead roles, which has really upset me. This was such a big issue that in my middle school years I started crying because I thought I was worthless even though I tried so hard when practicing for those higher roles. Additionally, the students do disrespect each other a lot as I have gotten bullied before. I have seen students disrespect others due to their size, body type, culture, values, etc and when the teachers or administrators would find out they didn’t do much. Overall, the student environment isn’t the best, but the academics were okay as I was in the gate academy program and the honors program.Other Review11mo ago - Fullerton Union High School
