A modest 60s ranch on the outside, gutted and remodeled on the inside, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath home with an open floor plan offers comfortable main floor living with a two-car attached garage and large light filled office. Surrounded by parks, the home is centrally located in one of Boulder's most convenient, central and coveted neighborhoods. The home is on a lushly landscaped 1/4 acre directly abutting Columbine Elementary School and Columbine Park. There is a private gate in the back yard providing access to the park and its open fields, playground and tennis courts. The park is a nice gathering place for neighborhood families and the location is great for making new friends. The home offers nice privacy from neighboring homes and is especially quiet at night, given that the park and school is used during the day.
On the main floor is a cooks kitchen with large central island and professional stove with 4 burners and cast iron griddle. There is a separate freezer and refrigerator with plenty of cabinets and counter space. The kitchen sink and island seating offer unobstructed views of the Flatirons. It is clad in white and houses a custom double vanity, tub/shower combination and lots of storage behind the wall of mirrored cabinets. The other main floor bedroom has windows facing east and an adjoining hall 3/4 bath with walk in shower that doubles as the powder room. The two other bedrooms are both in the basement and share a large bath with walk in shower.The basement also houses a family rec/play/media room and arts & crafts studio, along with washer and dryer. The main floor has in-floor radiant heat and the heat in the basement is also hot water radiant through European style radiators. There is an evaporative cooler which keeps the house cool the hottest few weeks of the summer, but is not needed beyond that very much given the abundant windows, shade trees and brick insulation.
The yard has three nice patio areas for gathering outside. There are 8 raised beds for gardening if you want to grow your own vegetables, as well as berries and fruit trees.
This home is being offered furnished, while the owners are traveling, and includes all dishes, pots/pans, cooking utensils etc. The rental rate may be flexible depending on timing and other considerations.
