A modest 60s ranch on the outside, gutted and remodeled on the inside, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath home with an open floor plan offers comfortable main floor living with a two-car attached garage and large light filled office. Surrounded by parks, the home is centrally located in one of Boulder's most convenient, central and coveted neighborhoods. The home is on a lushly landscaped 1/4 acre directly abutting Columbine Elementary School and Columbine Park. There is a private gate in the back yard providing access to the park and its open fields, playground and tennis courts. The park is a nice gathering place for neighborhood families and the location is great for making new friends. The home offers nice privacy from neighboring homes and is especially quiet at night, given that the park and school is used during the day.
On the main floor is a cooks kitchen with large central island and professional stove with 4 burners and cast iron griddle. The main floor has in-floor radiant heat and the heat in the basement is also hot water radiant through European style radiators. There is an evaporative cooler which keeps the house cool the hottest few weeks of the summer, but is not needed beyond that very much given the abundant windows, shade trees and brick insulation.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCasey Middle has changed so much in just two years! When our daughter started as a 6th grader in the fall 2021, it was a mess. We almost transferred her based on the poor leadership and chaotic environment. Honoring that many of the issues were caused by COVID, it was still struggling compared with other boulder middle schools. However, the new principal, Dr. Bryant Shaw, is simply fabulous. He started in fall 2022 and his presence has completely changed the energy and culture of Casey! The teachers seem happy to be there, the students feel safe and known and he is seriously invested in the community. It's amazing what a caring, motivated principal can do in a short time.
