This home must be seen to understand what a home should look like when you use the words upgraded or luxury. This Toll Brothers built house in the Regency Caramella 55+ community is unlike any that you have seen in this area. What is the story behind this property? When the sellers decided they wanted to live in the beautiful state of Nevada free from income taxes, they couldn’t have picked a better 55+ community to live in... Not wanting to overpay for builder upgrades and poor installation, the sellers decided to buy the basic model and redo it to their liking. They decided to remove every aspect of the interior down to the drywall. They hired a local demolition team that came in and removed the appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, floors, cabinets, fireplace, baseboards etc. The only items left after they were done were the windows, doors, drywall, and cement floors. Crown molding and professional painting were the first to go in and from there, beautiful hickory floors (with a designer layout) with higher end baseboards were installed. Plumbing fixtures were installed (faucets, toilets, sinks, shower hookups etc.) so that everything could be tiled, and glass doors could be installed. After that, custom solid (no MDF) knotty alder cabinets were installed in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Next came the Taj Mahal quartzite countertop; Thick slab with chiseled edges and the one-piece backsplash (no seams). Additionally, there were Minka ceiling fans added to all the rooms. A wonderful fireplace was installed with upgraded BTU’s including multiple other options and is shown off by the custom rock surrounding the fireplace with a beautiful mantel. Also included in the remodel were the custom live edge shelving and garage/master closet cabinet systems. Sellers did not stop there; Hunter Douglas plantation shutters were installed throughout. They also knew that part of living in Nevada is enjoying the outdoors. They had Clark Landscape design/install the landscape and exterior lighting and made sure to have an outdoor gas fire feature. You are within 10 miles of anything you could possibly need including the airport, fine dining, entertainment, recreation, and medical facilities, just to name a few. "Great area to live. Housing costs are inflated along with the rental market. Beware of property management companies, especially Realty Blvd, if you plan to rent. I recommend you avoid them if you can."
