I don’t know if it’s the high income area or the rise of social media (or both) but kids here have access to drugs at an absolutely alarming rate. If you have a child attending LPMS you better be talking to them about safe sex and the dangers of fentanyl. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm not sure why this school scores so highly. I suspect because they hold the bright students back and then at the end of th year tests they perform better than average. My child was not pushed or engaged in any way. Homework inconsistent from class to class. Issues with bullying that were not addressed and when I spoke to the teacher and principal, it was immediately a defensive approach. Principal can't even answer simple questions without an attitude. She's plain rude. As for the bullying. I found out later on that even after I addressed the issues, thought they were resolved, my child was paired up in the specials and had to share a locker with the girl who caused my daughter to feign illness so she could avoid school. Noone cares at all about the well being of the students and my daughter learnt nothing. In her new school she was in an advanced language arts and reading. She was 2nd grade with 5th grade reading ability. When I questioned her class teacher, I was told she was an average reader. Luckily her new school paid more attention and pushed her skills.Parent Review3y ago

"There is lot space and trails to walk dogs and go walking and jogging. Also good for riding bikes and owners are good at picking up after their dogs. Most keep track of lost dogs. The next door app is good to look for lost/found dogs "

"There is such a community of dog owners here. All kinds of services, classes, parks. It truly is a huge part of most of our lives....great vets with access to CSU vet school. Bunches of rescues to include National Mill Dog Rescue is here. "

"Great place to live and have a family. People are friendly and the school district are great. Great shops and restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Monument lake is beautiful, lots of trails to walk. "

"It’s worth it. I commute to DTC. I leave early, around 6:30 am and miss the heavy traffic. It’s a beautiful drive for most of the way, often see wildlife."
