7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBag Park elementary is a wonderful school that really fosters confidence, independence, compassion, and academics. Our child is ahead of her peers that attend other San Diego schools and we know it is due to the attention the teachers at Bay Park Elementary give to their students. In addition to academics, the school offers a lot of education without walls to include the school garden, a running club, and other activities that promote being well rounded. There is a lot of school spirit and a strong sense of community at Bay Park Elementary and we know our child is getting the best foundation for her educational journey here.Parent Review1mo ago - Clairemont High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have to say I have really grown to love this CHS community! My kids are thriving in the classroom & in athletics. I love how Special Education student are treated. I only have positive things to say about this school and the administration. The front office staff are THE BEST!!!Parent Review1y ago - Marston Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were not sure about sending our child to Marston for 6th grade based on school ratings from GreatSchools, Niche, etc. We are so happy our daughter wanted to go to Marston because it is a wonderful school and has been a fantastic experience for our child. There are many electives to choose from, the theater program is topnotch, and the academics (especially if your child is in the advanced courses) are rigorous and definitely push the students academically. The new principal seems very motivated and driven and I think the school will continue to get better and better.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 2221 Hartford St.

"The construction is horrible but the views on the hill are nice. Sea world has fireworks every weekend in the summer which can be a bit much for dogs. But close to everything! "

"I live in coral bay and the parking is awful. There’s always construction so it’s not very pleasant. Nice view though "

"My fiance and I bought a house here a year ago, and absolutely love it! The neighbors are all really friendly and respectful, and a lot of vibrant young couples are moving in everywhere with young children and dogs. We can walk to some great parks, the grocery store, and number of fantastic restaurants and bars, and the commute is amazing. We are thrilled we decided to move here. "

"Lots of dog owners walking the streets. There’s a nice neighborly vibe and have the dogs means people are routinely walking around. This helps security I think against petty crime "

"Don’t try to go south on the 5 in the evening/don’t try going north in the morning Overrun with annoying college kids who just want to party Homeless losers on every corner Trash everywhere Typical California I guess"

"There are lots of dogs and many people keep their dogs on leashes and clean up their dogs waste. Dogs bring people together "

"It’s quiet and neighbors know and look out for one another. We have a lot of car break-ins from outsiders but our neighbors do their best to look out for each other even if they have yet to personally meet them. If something happens to one neighbor’s car, we make it our business to spread the news so everyone is aware. "

"Not a bad place to raise your family but the Middle and High Schools are below average. There are a few really Good Elementary Schools but if you were to raise your kids in this area you might want to check out other school options besides public. Also boundary schools up and down Genesee do not offer a School bus unless you want to pay $500 a year. "

"convenient to most places we go such as Balboa park, theaters, beach & shopping. most neighbors are friendly. Great views unless the mayor & city council decide to let developers make a huge profit by building high rises blocking everyone 's views."

"there are 2 great nearby parks for dogs and kids and outdoor workouts for adults. one of the parks is the mission bay park. the other is by the skating rink and in between the middle school and special ed school"
