It is walking distance from the beach, a library on Third Street, a park with farmer's markets twice a week, Von's and Ralph's grocery stores as well as many restaurants, and an Art Theater on Fourth Street. A city bus runs down Ocean Boulevard with a connection in front of the Art Museum, as well as down Broadway, two streets north.
Downtown Long Beach is two miles west. Belmont Shore is two miles east.
