5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy time at Lamar was horrible i was bullied to leaving and constant second guessing my safety there was multiple bomb threats in one week and parents where not told about it the way parents found out was though there child it was posted to Instagram as well on a private story there was also a school shooting threat that was not taken seriously. There was also a lot of drugs, vapes, alcohol, and pocket knifes found on students the staff may have got them for it in the moment but they did not care. They will not teach there students at all and the ones that do quit because of students or other staff i have seen it happen 3 times while i was there for 2 1/2 years. I would not recommend this school go to a different one in the temple isd district or Belton isd as well.Other Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Temple High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey started this phone box rule this year, and made students put their phones up on the first week of school. As soon as you enter the classroom you have to put your phone up even when it's still passing period, and the class hasn't even started yet. They don't allow headphones at all you can't even plug your headphones into your computer if you have to watch a certain Youtube video on how to do an assignment, and they block literally everything even websites that are actually helpful. I see why kids are skipping class more. The admin thought they found a solution for more kids to learn when really they just created more problems in this school. Why do you think more students skip class? Apparently you have to sit there when you finish your work because they block all the websites for no reason. I understand websites that have a virus but most of the websites don't even have a virus and yet the website is blocked. I would not recommend this school at allStudent Review1y ago19 Reviews - Kennedy-Powell Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot a great experience. If you have a gifted child I would send them somewhere else if you can. They say they support this enrichment but my kid hasn’t learned anything. We have to do school on our own because the school is so dysfunctional. The school staff is poorly trained in child development and disciple. They call parents for the smallest thing. This just shows the child the adults at the school don’t have any authority. This happens at all levels from teacher to principle so I would strongly recommend finding another school if you can.Parent Review2y ago13 Reviews - Check out schools near 2213 Valley Forge Ave #A.

"People walk their dogs and seem to keep them well controlled there can be a lot of barking at times though. Yards are not overly large for a dog to have lots of room to run."
