I love this school the teachers are so kind and there like no bullying and a safe school to learn and have fun with friends

I went to Tice in the First Grade. The First of the Six Teachers I had that first year Scared me so bad the First day of school, I still have Nightmares. Luckily I was moved to another Class latter that week because of class sizes. in that class one of the Five teachers I had in that classrooms said to me when I was having trouble reading "I know you can read, Your father graduated College!" and I sat there thinking 'what dose him graduating Collage have anything to do with me reading. after that she started sending me to the Principle to be paddled for not reading. when my Mother found out she had a talk with the School Superintendent, who had me transferred to another school, and Fired that Principle. After All that trauma, it took the next Six years and some Very Caring Teacher who Quickly figured out I actually had a Learning Disability, to get me to trust teachers again, but we found them in another State.But from what I have seen recently, Tice has gotten a lot better in recent years, they are now testing well below average, Almost 40% are passing standardized Testing! And if I read the statistics correctly, The Low-Income students are doing better than all other students!?? Maybe at this rate Tice may actually reach the State Norm In, Oh Say 60 or 70 Years!P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if you Pull my Review, Now Days Most people in Florida don't like the Truth. and it did happen 60 years ago, and your test Scores show, the quality of education at Tice and in Florida hasn't improved much.

The school is racist towards black students and there is one time I was outside for almost an hour about to pass out just to be told to get to class

I won't say much but this school sucks I can't wait to go to a different school honestly I spoke of something that happened and it was told it was a lie it's not but I got 2 days of iss for telling the assistant principal that people came up to me and now I'm the only one in iss the other students are still in there classes I feel like no ones on my side like I don't want to be ur favorite for u to realize what's wrong and right I told the truth and I get called a liar then go to iss for no reason at all and for two days def favorites.

the truth is that this school is very average but due to a lot of strange rules that seemingly affect everyone but kids who cause trouble, the school has become a bad environment for the average student. If you show up to learn, you’ll be fine as long as you tolerate the madness of the school. the school seemingly refuses to address constant fights and weapons being brought on campus, and send emails literal hours after school has ended to parents. I understand that the school has an image to up hold but the campus is simply gives off the illusion of security with officers and security and yet do nothing actually address constant misbehavior which has honestly gotten worse. I understand that students are very much to blame for this issue as well but what can be said about the school that accepts these students?Lastly, i want to say that among several concerns there are staff who care about students and learning, sadly they are becoming the minority and most new staff seem to be bothered or even annoyed by questions and inquiries from students.The main issue seems to be a disconnect from staff to students and because of this the misbehavior and misconduct will only grow.

That school is so bad. You guys made my brother cry. There are Steelers at that school you guys are so lame and broke. You let the children disrespect you guys. He comes crying home every single day. The children are literally stealing Sprayground tags.

This school has gone severely down hill over the last couple of years. I have tried and failed at getting my daughter transferred. I could list several reasons, but this, THIS is it! My daughter is having a hard time completing her IReady assignments. She’s not as fast at learning as the school would like her to be. She failed to pass her IReady assignment the week prior so they issued her a lunch detention. While she was in detention they had the students redo the assignments they couldn’t pass. They told her and the other students that “They need to try harder to pass their test because they used to be a B school but now they are not!” Are you kidding me? I’m livid!!!!!! Why would you put that pressure on a 10 year old?!?! Why not call it study hall? Why PUNISH them? Why not encourage? Why not explain they’re getting extra time or a second chance to catch up? This school just wants to put FEAR in our children so they can rank higher!!! Absolutely disgusting!

This school is absolutely awesome. My kids are there for over 2 years now and love it. It is a fairly new building and very clean. The principle and her 2 assistants are doing an amazing job providing for many troubled kids and their families. Staff and Teachers are the most loving and caring I have ever seen in a public school. Don't let the reputation fool you... THIS IS A GREAT SCHOOL!

I love this school for my child. The teachers and administrators are really great. The teachers care for the students and push for them to do well. There's diversity among staff and same with the students. I recommend this school as they will offer your child a great learning experience.

This is a great school that cares about student learning and have been doing a great job over the years to increase student effectiveness. Most parents are easy to work with and that makes a big difference, What we do with the level of students the District allocated to our school is more than amazing. Teachers are dedicated and care for the students. GO BULLS!!!
