I went to Tice in the First Grade. The First of the Six Teachers I had that first year Scared me so bad the First day of school, I still have Nightmares. Luckily I was moved to another Class latter that week because of class sizes. in that class one of the Five teachers I had in that classrooms said

On the surface the school looks nice and the staff seems polite. Stepping slightly outside of the school's expectation; you may be greeted at the locked door

The principle and her 2 assistants are doing an amazing job providing for many troubled kids and their families. Staff and Teachers are the most loving and caring I have ever seen in a public school. My kids are new their this year and although it was challenging at first, all my kids teachers and the principal have gone above and beyond to help them. We had the chance to change schools after the first few weeks but all my kids didn't want to leave JSIA. Change is hard and overcoming a bad reputation from years past takes time.
