"People always walk their dogs, we have a dog park and everyone is very friendly. The local police officers are great if your dog gets loose. "
  • Bmr_311
"Location: views, ease of getting to mutliple shopping centers in different directions in a short amount of time, quality of care for homes, length of time individuals have lived in these homes. "
  • janeebednar
"DRO is a solidly middle-class town located between Monterey and Seaside. Located in the Peninsula's sunbelt, DRO enjoys a microclimate to gladden a gardener's heart, with plenty of sunshine. It's close to Fremont Avenue, which offers grocery shopping, paint stores, sporting goods, gas stations, and some restaurants. Homes are post-war era and many have been updated. The town is well-kept but on-street parking is rampant, which is not attractive. Home prices tend to be significantly lower than in neighboring Monterey but higher than its other neighbor, Seaside. Very safe area."
  • webbx5
"A family friendly neighborhood, regularly see neighbors enjoying evening strolls, mature oaks, limited traffic, elevated view of the ocean, close to recreation parks and shopping. "
