Hands on with so many projects , & activities the school has . Many great teachers along the way!! Strong focus to assist every child to their every ability , so no one slips through the cracks ,IEP program teaches many useful tools for better compensation, building the confidence and pride to help the kids excel . 30 years later I’m still very happy my kids have had a school like EHB !Parent Review1y ago - Mattacheese Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has effected me in many negative ways. People bully me and caused a really bad impact on myself. Why are people so mean? Well, I don’t know. But what I do know is that this school does not care at all about students’ mental health, or even their well being. The counselors don’t help. I have seen them many times and all they do is blame the problems on me. The own counselor said “well that’s on you” to myself. I was told that MY depression was MY fault. UMMM WHAT? And that i’m in ade me feel worse. It is unbelievable what this school thinks. People need to do better. This school is awful. 2 girls did not want to work with me and made me cry. I stayed outside sitting, crying the WHOLE rest of the class until the period ended. I cry alone and no one notices. When they do, they just walk away. School is a big impact on my mental health, and not in a good way. People here are racist and so cruel. Meanwhile I am just a girl trying to get an education but the people here are causing problems and taking my life away from me. They are ruining me. I did nothing wrong. I care about others but no one cares about me. I’m invisible to everyone. Do better. This school sucks. The teachers get mad so easily, everyone only cares about attendance, when I’ve missed so much absences BECAUSE OF THIS SCHOOL. Because of this environment. Of what I have to walk into every day. And many people in this school can relate. I have talked with other people in the school and too many people relate. It is so disgusting and outrageous with what is going on in this school. I wish people were more kind and respectful to other people. All people like to do nowadays is judge people, make fun of their appearance, and leave them in the dust. And kids like me are getting left alone trying to figure out why people are the way they are. I hope you all know what is going on. Why are you doing nothing about it? Are you even gonna see this review? Well, I stated a lot of honesty in one paragraph, so you better see this. Fix this monstrosity. I want to live life without worrying about stupid people affecting my life. And I can’t get homeschooled because apparently it’s “excluding me from people” LIKE OBVIOUSLY THAT’S THE POINT I DON’T LIKE PEOPLE. "I've lived here for 21yrs. My 3 children grew up here. They went to school here. and now 2 of the 3 have purchased a home in the area. I know each of our neighbors by name and there family members. We have been to and hosted parties. Everyone is very friendly here. there are 8 homes on our road. A few are part time residents. 2 new home owners within this last year. "

"The area is convenient to downtown Dennisport, including the library, laundomat, bakery, and local shops. The main road connects right to Rt. 134 and the highway, passing banks, a grocery store. gas station, and much more. There is a garden nursery within walking distance as well as a local favorite restaurant. "
