MOST of the teachers great, helpful, knowledgeable and competent. Some are new grads and are not as experienced w kids and it shows. One teacher couldn’t stop taking about herself on back to school night. She had anime, Sanrio all over the place and barely talked about her teaching style or the students. This school gives out way too much homework. It’s all of the teachers. My kids are exhausted every school day many of the kids are rude, disrespectful, mean and they don’t follow dress code and the teachers don’t enforce it. I’ve seen at least and handful of girls every day wearing very short shots that show they cheeks. This area is safe and pretty but their cheeks. Morality and empathy around here is a poor. There isn’t a dedicated special Ed, 504 plan specialist. It’s just the regular counselor that just says whatever and tries to just move on to the next thing. Nobody cares much here. Elementary school in this same district was much more helpful and supportive. I’m disappointed. As much taxes as I pay to live here, things should be better.

This school would do so well with replacing teachers that are not passionate about teaching, and hiring those that have the energy this school needs to flourish. I have never been so appalled to see one first grade teacher in particular be so cold and detached from her students. She's been teaching special needs for years, but does not seem like a good fit with her cold and aloof demeanor. She lacks the energy and positivity that her students desperately need, and I hope this gets resolved.

My kid is Senior in upcoming year. The experience I have in the past three years has been frustration from the school administrations.They are non-responsive to parent's communications and would not work with the parents. Despite the great promises and "care about our students" talk in every school meets, there's no follow through. The courses offered are limited and my kid had to "self-studied" on few subjects in order to full-fill the requirements because the courses are not offered while they are commonly available at other schools. The students coming out of the school are ill-prepared and poorly competitive when applying for colleges. Above all, the school would not work with parents and listen to parents. They post on social media for school announcements instead of the proper channels such as emails. Parents get silent treatments if they want to engage with school. There were few instances of school shut-down last year due to violent near by and getting information from school were impossible. I would NOT mess up some other parent's kid by recommending to this school!
