This school is horrible. Our autistic child went here for a short time. We had been working on a goal of having him self advocate. One day when he was having a bad day he went to the office to call home. It was a big achievement for him to be able to get the words out while distressed. The office people were rude with him and refused to allow him to call home, despite this being an accommodation that was written in his IEP. That they had been made aware of. The principal when informed saw no problem with this.Children are generally treated with contempt in this school. When you leave and go to new school you really see what it should be like, where adults can just operate with common decency, respect and as though they don’t hate their job and the children they are around.Many good staff have left under the current principal. The amount of physical fighting and aggression in the playground is frightening but not surprising given how the adults in this school behave. Avoid this school if you can. Children deserve better.

All I have to say is, when the school admin ain't .... The school ain't.... Outside of Jennifer the MAIN front desk secretary, a couple and I literally mean 2 maybe 3 other school personnel, and the community resource ladies in the back of the school near the headstart day care, who help the teen parents and other ppl in need in the community with diapers and other things, I can't lie and u give a good review for this school. It has went down hill these last few years. The school can't keep teachers. One minute u see them, and the next minute u don't. Then you got certain staff members gossiping about parents and other colleagues. U got the principal justifying rude and inappropriate behaviour coming from her teachers and other ppl working at the front desk, and there seems to not be any consideration of ppl's privacy. I guess if you don't say anything, all your business will be pur on front Street right in front of everyone coming in and out. I've been told by numerous family members to disenroll my child from this "school", and I'm thinking that might be the plan. There are far better schools that actually care about the education of children attending, the parents/ families,because as well all know educating a child is a group effort. We all need to be able to work together in order for the child to be successful and furthermore each other as colleagues .
