7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has exceeded my expectations. Engaged, thoughtful, and effective principal in Mr. G. Talented Teachers who work so hard to create great environments for their students. A very engaged parent community of folks who genuinely want to connect, create some fun and look out for each other. Staff who is knowledgeable and caring. I am so grateful to live in this community and send my kids here.Parent Review2mo ago - Grant High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have gone through all 3 years of education at Tubman. I would say that it's really not as bad as some say. I think over time the staff has gotten way better and the students have calmed down. Some teachers are better than others but none are "bad." I'm not sure why the reviews are as bad as they are but if you go into Tubman with an open mindset you will be surprised.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 2134 NE 19th Ave.

"Portland’s Irvington neighborhood cannot be easily characterized. On its southern border a host of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, personal service establishments, and shop after shop. Irvington’s northern border is primarily residential, but where whole foods, boutiques and your favorite coffee shop can be found. And on its east and west sit two large parks. In between? Well, this is the kind of neighborhood for which people enter the American dream. The houses, each unique and almost all attractive with their ancient trees and flowing green lawns, seem the picture of Americana that we agreed to when we entered the game. The children playing seem palpably blessed to have this as their foundation. And driving through you can almost hear the promise of a simpler country and a simpler time if we just hold onto neighborhoods like it. Several grand dame old homes are located here, and many are on the National Register of Historic Places. Irvington Schools have been rated at the top of Portland school districts. Irvington is in a fantastic location for both commuting, as well as getting to many other great Portland neighborhoods. Major freeway"
