This is a perfect location for anybody working at Providence or ANMC. It also has great access to both greenbelts. The neighborhood is friendly and has many young-professional residents. No crime beyond the occasional Anchorage-standard opportunistic petty theft.
The lighting was dimmed for the photos but since this unit is north-facing, I put intention into adding ample lighting on dimmers. New appliances, off-street parking, laundry in the unit, tenant pays electric which averages $40. There is a great backyard with a lot of potential for gardening and lounging. Dogs allowed with a refundable $500 deposit and $50 extra per month. I also ask that you bring your dog to the showing so I can meet them since the fenced area encompasses the entry to my unit. I only allow cats if they are outside cats and with the same deposit and rent addition.
I put some money and effort into this remodel with the intention of finding a tenant who wants to stay a while and treat it like their own home. I live next door, so if you're able to self-identify as a bad tenant, please move on. I am a down-to-earth and experienced landlord and my desire is to stay out of my tenants' business. So, I am searching for mature adults with the simple qualities of keeping their living space generally clean, use the bathroom fan while showering, good neighbors (considerate and quiet during sleeping hours), and pay rent on time.
