This school changed so much with the new principal. It use to be very family oriented now it’s like a prison, kids can’t run, talk to each other, move from their lines or even say, hi! to their own siblings. I witnessed it multiple times and My daughter requested to change her from school, she said she was very unhappy because they treat them like they are in jail. This year she’s in a new school and she’s is very happy. I wasn’t the only parent that seen it and witnessed it. Multiple complaints were taken to the top. I wished… the last principle never left the school, Mrs. Craver is one of the best principals. She made you feels welcoming, and was always attentive to all the students.

Let me start off by telling how this school is a joke even the staff at this school. My daughter got sexual assaulted by a boy in 7th grade and they just let slid under the rug. Now is in 8th grade and the same boy sexual assaulted her again. I asked then what they are going to do this time about what happened to my daughter! The said the boy is going to get Quants equances and they both will sign Agreement that they won't look at each other and can't be around each other. But just last Wednesday by daughter got dragged by the same boy across the grass. She has bruises on her butt and starches on her back from him. But once again the staff can say that this boy is get big quantities equances. This boy is still at the school.. would you want your kids going to this school? And just to let you know this school got a 2.1 stars..

I am a former student but I will share my experience in Mountain Range High School anyway. I was enrolled to that school months ago and most of the teachers were nice to me (including my former counselor). My interactions with some staff/admin and students went well. I was happy to come back to that school until a few weeks later because On September 5th, 2025, I was doing a history test in another classroom with a few other kids. Several minutes later, This rude teacher checked up on those students and I to see how we were doing on our test and I told her that I was doing good then after that that same rude teacher told me to speed it up on the test because there was only 15 minutes remaining with a nasty attitude (even though there was another day to finish the test). Because of that experience with that teacher, I was scared of coming to that school because I was scared of dealing with her again. After that bad experience with her, she continued to be rude to me because I didn't stand up for myself. So teens if you are reading this review, If a teacher is rude to y'all, stand up for yourselves so that way they won't continue to mess with you. Parents if you are reading this review and you're kid/kids have IEPs or 504 plans, Please don't send them to this school because they will probably deal with the teacher that I had to deal with.
