The principle seemed nice but only sat down or talked to her one time and that was when they said my son would be repeated. I had thought I had good communication with his teacher should would always respond to my email very quickly ! Although she did not listen . He struggled in the begging but towards the end was catching on but yet said he would be repeated then all his homework came back marked correct but answers were wrong ! Oh and my son never had bad behavior and the teacher lied infront of the principle saying my son likes to copy and she has been telling me all year and never not once did I hear not read before that very moment ! !!!They gave up the second she said she thought he was not ready fist grade. My son never did preschool and was reading at A-B level they want him at a D??? I saw what the first hand what the first graders were doing this year and I believe he would do fine. They told me there was no way around this ! My kid will get a new teacher the 2nd time around bc the one we had treated him like a baby and was very unorganized in everything I witness. Hopefully next year goes better since I will have to deal with them again a couple of years for my younger one ! Do research ob your teacher you will be shocked !

This School is the Best!!! All the teachers are really nice. They are Smart and they know a lot about the Subjects they teach. They give us the perfect amount of work every day!! If I am struggling I can always ask one of my teachers for help. I learn something new everyday!! We also learn in fun ways like Blookets, Quizzes, Gimkits, and Kahoots. It has been a great experience at this School. When I wake up in the morning all i can think about is how I can't wait to get to school. I will miss this school and all the staff when I go to high School. Shout Out to Mr.Roccaforte for Just being an Amazing Teacher!!! I love going to the Hobart Middle School!!!

We have multiple family members in town this weekend and decided today to go and support one of our elementary age family members at a basketball game that took place at the high school. The game was amazing. Everybody at the concession stand was extremely professional. Overall we had a blast. There was one exception to this. I’m not sure who the young man is that was at the front door sitting behind the Admissions table, taking payments for the basketball game. When my family and I walked into this building for the very first time, we felt less than welcome. He was extremely brash, extremely rude, and his tone was less stellar. I will hope that moving forward when entering athletic events. The Hobart school district will have someone there that is eager to greet their guest, with courtesy and welcome them with professionalism, decorum, cough, someone that will greet their patrons with a smile and be more welcoming than what my family and I experienced this weekend.This interaction was definitely distasteful and sadly when mentioning my experience to the grandparents of one of the children during the game, this seems like standard behavior for this individual. Again, overall, we had a great time but first impressions are everything.

We have been lifelong Hobart residents, my two youngest attended Liberty and had great experiences. I was worried because we were coming from nearby Joan Martin and had great experiences there with my other three, but Liberty proved to be a great experience for them. I cannot say enough kind words about the RO Azcona, it made me feel safe having him around.
