    • Trulia User
"There are lots of dogs. I see people out walking their dogs frequently especially along the railroad tracks. "
    • Annatteswenson01
"Several large and well maintained dog parks in the area. It’s a safe area to walk your dogs. However, you have to be aware of wildlife that wonders the neighborhoods."
    • Joey N.
"clean neighborhood and friendly neighbors. people actually acknowledge each other. Black mountain will be home for awhile "
    • T Sinclair
"I’ve lived here well over 30 years and the neighborhood is still a friendly one. The down side is former mayor fought us to rezone , for profit. Our homes under the master plan of this area didn’t matter- city council -ha- tossed out -now the neighborhood has and will continue to change its very disheartening. The area will turn from custom homes to a dense overpopulated neighborhood that’s why we are selling. No longer will you see horses, kids, dogs , but fast cars crime, and not enough city services to handle what exists already. There has been several robberies in our neighborhood. One dead body. Check before you buy. No sugar coating here- just the facts - happy house hunting "
    • Raceyblond51
"Just love this area. Convenient cause you can travel uptown or downtown in a snap and Lake Mead is just minutes away. People are friendly and watch out for each other."
    • Ackerman S.
"I see people constantly walking their dogs. I believe every house on our street has a dog. It’s lovely here. "
    • Jenn F.
"The location is wonderful. Although I live on a through street and the speed of cars can be scary with some children and pets in the area."
    • Mbosnos
"I’ve lived here for five years and have small children. We feel safe and love our neighbors and the area. It’s close to everything "
    • Jenn F.
"It is great to drive through during the holiday season. Unique decorations and usually cranes are brought in. "
    • Alheli69
"Lived here for six years. Close to stores, hospital and doctor’s offices. Clean, diverse and safe. Very close to downtown Henderson for events and government offices. "
    • Nicknmack
"Peaceful area of custom built homes bounded by Black Mountain Golf course, Country Club Drive, Pacific Ave and Horizon Ridge. Across the street from Elementary School and other schools are easily walkable. "
