6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBethel High school is a great school overall. Only had 1 major problem with a teacher that plays favorites with the students and makes it very known who his favorites are, which was taken care of very fast with the Asst principal. Overall the school is great, and the whole staff cares about the students. Some teachers love the help from the teachers with their students, a few will not give you the time of day and tell you that its 100% on your student which makes it hard to help the student.. The school does have afterschool tutoring that dose help.Parent Review1y ago - Bethel Junior High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCertainly, here it is:As a former student of this institution, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a at least good-quality education. The teachers go above and beyond to support students who demonstrate exemplary conduct and academic performance, providing positive reinforcement and guidance that fosters success. If you are struggling academically, the school offers a wealth of resources, including after-school programs and clubs, to help you achieve your goals. The overwhelming majority of students treat each other with kindness and respect, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.Based on my personal experience, I positively recommend this school to anyone seeking a supportive and good educational experience.Other Review5mo ago - Elk Plain Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school and the design, are ideally wonderful ideas. I can not say that all of the staff is one star because that would be wrong .But I will say with my recent experience with the handling of the disciplinary response to certain teachers Bullying and negatively handling there pre third grade children. It’s extremely disheartening and discouraging to know that a teacher in a school held so highly in the district is allowed to not help a child to grow and flourish mentally emotionally and educationally .When parents counselors and other teacher bring it to a principals attention! and all that is asked is for that child to be removed from that class and administrators choose to not do this because they don’t want to make waves with the teacher? Our children should matter and keeping them in and bullying them because you don’t like there parents is ridiculous. Be betterOther Review2y ago - Shining Mountain Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children came in the middle of the school year and the teachers were amazing at helping them integrate. The next year, was even better. COVID-19 happened and distance learning became the new thing, but teachers were open, honest, and communicative about the situation. As we start the next year distance learning, things were a tough start but they are committed to my kids.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 20313 13th Avenue E.

"I've raised my 15yr old daughter in this home. I no longer live here but visit my mother often. When I lived here it was a Great neighborhood. It's actually not that bad, there are just a few unneighborly people 😬 living in the area. They come & go, but most people living here have been here @ least 10yrs. Which is Great 😀, like a family on our block. Kids went to school together, and still have a close relationship with the neighbors till this day!!! 😁💖🏘️"

"Dog owners would like that there are large dog runs with doggie bins & bags. Dog owners would not like that some people don't pick up after their dogs. "

"I’ve only seen a couple loose dogs maybe 2 times since I’ve lived here , that’s almost 2.5 years. I’d say if there’s non running around it’s a good sign. If there are dogs loose running around that’s not good. But not here in Spanaway."
