8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your child is an athlete, this school is for you. If not, sadly your child will be looked at as inferior, not only by the athletes, but staff and admin as well. Athletes are allowed to bully, harass, make inappropriate comments about females, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. When the issue is brought to the attention of the school, nothing is done. Essentially a blind eye is turned because they're athletes. Clearly a division title is far more important than the well being of a non-athlete student.Parent Review2y ago16 Reviews - La Veta Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is very bad with bullying they ignore parents complaints and can't even set up a meeting to talk to the parents about what they are going to do about the situation, instead the teacher of my child rushed over during pick up blurted out a couple things and left before I couldnt get a word in she said don't worry they are to young for bullying yet my child is telling me someone is saying bad words to her and I had previously picked her up from a head injury because she was pushed during recess my child is telling me she no longer wants to go to school I was thinking the school would help but they didn't I no longer trust this school with my child . Also the cops have been at the school 2 times this school year and it's barely March they never inform the parents why yet schools in America have had incidents a lot these years I overheard during pickup a staff member talking to a police officer saying a child had brought something to school that they weren't supposed to and that it was not the first time they had done that . Why is nobody doing anything???Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Santiago Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSantiago Charter Middle School is a fantastic school! I recommend Santiago to any parent without hesitation or qualification. When you visit the campus, you will immediately notice the caring atmosphere because every staff member is amazing (shoutout to Dr. D and Mrs. Pedroza, co principals, for giving this school the big heart that it has)!! If you’re on the fence, give them a chance by attending one of the campus events to hear what they have to offer and what sets them apart from other schools. For example, how many middle schools offer international travel opportunities? My daughter went on a 10+ day trip to Europe and made wonderful memories with her friends. Again, this school has it all (including pre-AP!) and so many parents I’ve talked to all agree it was amazing for each of their kids. No regrets!Parent Review1y ago29 Reviews - Check out schools near 203 E Craig Dr.

"We have lived on Townsend Ave in Belmont Estates since 1990. We bought the home new from the builder, Standard Pacific. Early neighbors used to gather on driveways, potluck style, on Halloween every year. Hasn’t happened for at least 10 years."

"I haven’t been living here longer than a year, but I’ve enjoyed it so far. Great proximity to amazing food which will always be a must for me. Good parks and well maintained roads for the most part. A lot of the people I’ve met here are actively employed, ambitious, and friendly. A very pet friendly neighborhood for sure."

People are diverse & friendly, many places to eat, every grocery store is locally around here, the streets are clean with strict citations for anyone not keeping up with the cleanliness, and all the holidays have been celebrated by so many festive neighborhoods, a true American city.
