Description

A Peaceful Sanctuary is a micro farm in Springfield, OR. We rent the farm on a nightly basis or monthly. Our rates are $125.00 nightly rental or $1850.00. This includes electric, cablevision, HBO/Showtime, WIFI, and trash service, a $75.00 cleaning fee and a refundable $250.00 deposit. In winter there is a $200.00 cap on electricity. Guests are responsible for any electric expense after the $200.00. The farm is freshly restored and painted inside and out. The house is fully furnished and everything is top of the line. WIFI, high speed internet. Please check out our VRBO link below to more info. You can check out availability under rates and availability. Monthly rentals have a 3 month minimum stay and we do not do monthly rentals June-August.

We are a small working farm with 3 Alpacas, 2 Cashmere goats, 60 hens, 3 rescue Chihuahuas that are well behaved and a big orange tabby kitty named Merlin the Magical Kitty and we raise and sell chickens. You will also receive eggs from our hens.

We are on the outskirts of town yet close to everything. Only a 10 minute drive to downtown Eugene and Springfield. You can hop on the EMX bus and not need a car. Many great restaurants, shopping, post office, liquor store, hospital, urgent care and a 5 minute walk to the beautiful McKenzie River. Thursdays and Saturday in spring - fall the organic youth farm sets up behind us under the Douglas Firs by the hospital so you can walk to get your organic veggies.

    "Gets busy but not horrible. Buses run pretty well. Some express buses. Fair amount of stops. Connects with Eugene easily. The rush hour is usually 30 minutes unless there is an accident or other delay. But, if possible, I would take the bus. The roads are getting busier as time goes on."

    "There’s a walking/bike path that goes a few miles. Starting near shopping and bus lines it goes around parks and school, even a tennis court. Lots of grass along the way for your dog to relieve himself. Most people are decent enough to clean it up. The path ends up over near a river and a new path that runs another direction along nature area with wildlife for your dog to bark at. "
