  • Jodie DeLong
"Nice area, walking distance to downtown. Firehouse, post office, police station, awesome park beside the firehouse, Catholic community at the top of the hill. School & all"
  • Julie Tucker
"Small town feel with big city options. Neighbors are friendly, very quiet neighborhood, lots of wildlife even being 5 minutes from everything. Easy access to Columbus and other larger cities "
  • Kristin Hunt
"There are not a lot of families with kids in them. My kid has a hard time finding kids that live here all the time and don’t just visit. "
  • Doug Funkhouser
"My commute is 34 miles mostly via the highway. It’s manageable and worth it to live here. Occasionally an accident can delay the commute but that can happen anywhere. "
  • Julie Tucker
"In and around Lancaster is easy but must own personal vehicle. Commuting to Columbus can be tedious. Traffic on 33 very heavy during rush hour "
  • Julie Tucker
"Quit neighborhood. Rural feeling with all the convenience of being in the city. Neighbors are friendly and watch out for each other "
  • Kris H.
"About 35 minutes to downtown Columbus. There are several ways to get there but traffic is usually horrible"
  • Julie Tucker
"Depending on time of day traffic can be heavy but it is manageable. Roads are always maintained and easy drive "
  • Barbara L.
"Kind and friendly neighbors who look out for each other. Close to Talmadge elementary schools with bike trail to the school."
  • Jessica W.
"I am near everything in my community. If I can't get to ut by walking or driving, the bus is on its first stop in my area and starts at 8am. This area isn't to bad but I would nit recommend my apartments to anyone. They are invested with drugs, bugs and and slum lords. But the houses and area around are very decent."
  • Heatherann740
"I’ve lived in this area from birth until 19 or 20 I moved away for about 15 years maybe a few more growing up it was a safe area neighbors friendly could leave your door unlocked I would not really be able to say the same now as most of small town USA it has been taken over by drug pushers and users this area is known for methamphetamine use and manufacturing wish it was how I remember it growing up but I still wouldn’t say it’s the worst area it’s just not as wholesome as it once was"
  • Barbara L.
"People drive, skateboarding and kids riding their bikes but it’s scary because the drivers go so fast it’s scary. More younger families are moving on my as my Street is going through these changes."
  • Carol F.
"Great neighborhood to bring up kids or live single. Schools, grocery, churches. Lots going on downtown. "
  • Katherine H.
"People complain too much about the barking of other dog owners. If you have a dog it will bark, if you don’t like it go live in the country. Dogs WILL bark. "
  • Swaylan10
"Dog owners would not like the really ferocious breeds in Lancaster because they do not know boundaries and when not to chase after other animals"
  • Dshouldis56
"Activities for the young and aged just about weekly. Yard sales, Christian Events, meals on the grounds, Weddings, private parties, craft shows, swimming, picnicking, "
  • Nicolewoodman162017
"I wouldn’t say that it’s the worst place, but it’s definitely not the best either. Lancaster is becoming more populated and because of that, there are a lot more crimes."
  • Newgrandma00
"The people are very friendly it’s a quiet neighborhood and very well taken care of. I like living here very much"
  • Nicolewoodman162017
"Lancaster is becoming more of a city so if you’re coming from Columbus or another bigger city like that, hoping for a less hectic place to settle down; this is not the place for you."
  • Natalie C.
