3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly, maybe the school just isn't for me and maybe I'm just looking for something greater, but there is nothing the school offers that makes me want to get out of bed in the morning. With peers, it's an odd situation. The only time I've found myself around people who don't mess around with their work and are genuine is when I was with the IB kids. Now that I've "moved down," it's like no one gets it. "Oh, just use A.I. for this," and "bro wdym I've failed this," and "bro no one knows how to do this essay." Mind you, it was a simple five paragraph essay. Of course, not all the students are like this (stay in Honors or above for your own sanity). Other than that, the students here aren't exactly "top notch" if that's what you're hoping for.Maybe, just maybe they really are putting in effort, but sometimes with how they act, it's so hard to feel bad for them. Some (heavy emphasis on the some) teachers are way too nice and students don't deserve them. I can see why no one wants to teach or look after them. Honestly though, not all of them are too bad. There is some* sense of community, but its based on the fact that no one wants to be at that school and that the school sucks.Anyway, this is simply my opinion, and others could say otherwise. Is the school great? Not one bit, but it's definitely an experience. I guess it depends on who you are, I suppose.Student Review1y ago15 Reviews - Greenbrier Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a joke. The administration does not hold teachers and assistant teachers accountable and the counselors are just as complicit in poor behavior. Do your children a favor and steer clear of this school.Parent Review2w ago21 Reviews - Greenbrier Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. Their system is not good at all. My son told me that his assistant principal was being very hostile towards him and when she got on the phone with me..she wanted to lower her tone. It is not a great school at all. Those teachers will blackmail students and give them steps for no reason. As a parent I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Never again I’m changing my child out of that school.Parent Review1mo ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 2012 Elbow Rd.

"Some days there is bad traffic and others it’s smooth. I find that compared to other cities it’s decent. I would describe my commute as fair compared to living in Portsmouth or Norfolk or Virginia Beacb. My commute is anywhere from 5 minutes to 35 minutes from my place of residence. That’s all I would say. "

"There are always dogs being walked and playing in the field by my apartment with their owners. It is a very dog friendly area and the owners are polite and kind and courteous of other dogs as well as people who live around here without dogs. "

"There are no events at our apartment complex or the 2 next to ours. The mall is dieing. I do love the craft fair at the park. I hope next year it is bigger with more information on what our city has to offer. I miss the pow wows the park had. it is a good reminder of the Native American heritage. "

"Although there are areas to play between our patios and the white sticks indicating the golf course property, children do not play back there. The only time I’ve ever seen children play in the area that is available and allowed is wintertime when snow is on the grounds."
