5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student here, Kind/Mean teachers, good cleaning and the gym is a reasonable size. Covid rules taken responsible. I will say there are some horrible kids in this school. A lot of fights and backstabbers…I’d say to watch your child and who they hang around because theres some bad influences there. The lunch ladies may seem nice but they are rude. You only get 2 Choices and that’s horrible cold baked food or sandwich with peanut butter and jelly. Some friends found MOLD in their oranges and i found some mold in my food too. Great office staff but if a kid gets in trouble for threatening the school or getting caught with illegal drugs, they just send you to SSL. ( student support lab) where all you do is sit by yourself doing your work. you go to the bathroom twice in the morning and afternoon, you also get lunch a different time than normal. SSL is only for 2 days. Not much of a punishment from what i’ve seen. This is a not recommended school. It ruined my trust and i felt like i was in a chokehold there.Other Review4y ago9 Reviews - John Hardin High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved my student to John Hardin High School after difficulties at another high school. She is like a different person now. She loves her classes and teachers. She said that the biggest difference between this school and other schools she has attended is that teachers and administrators are out in the school interacting with students on a regular basis. If she needed a letter of recommendation from her counselor, for instance, she knows that they would know who she is and what she likes more than being just a name in Infinite Campus.Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Heartland Elementary School

"Schools are very spread out so watch the cut off lines one side of the street could go to one school while the other attends a totally different one"

"It’s rural, with no sidewalks and the street is narrow. Noone walks their dog here. You can’t walk the street after dark because there’s no lights. It’s very quiet, and no crime, so it’s definitely worth the trade off."

"There are no community events, over-priced and not a very neighborly community. We are looking to move out of Elizabethtown, not the place it was years ago. "

"I've lived here for almost 15 years. It's a nice, growing town. Not as big as Louisville but not as small as West Point. They have been fixing up a lot of areas and adding a lot of enjoyable things to do around the town. I am excited to see what's to come in the future. "

"It’s not always special, especially here recently. We’ve had a lot of shootings, and crazy stuff happening. But we have the heartland festival every year, and the fair. Those two things specifically are my favorite about this city. It’s not an amazing place to live anymore, but it’s still home. "
