"Retired and no longer work. I do not like the trains because they tie up traffic for 5 to 7 minutes"

"Southlake is So close to DFW AP, Dallas and Fort Worth. I can literally get to the airport and park and be at my gate in 20 minutes. And the. Ona Friday I can be at the Stockyards in Fort Worth in 35 minutes. "
    • Visionthreads
"The commute isn’t terrible except for at peak times. The construction on key highways has created a bottleneck unfortunately making it a challenge to get through main thoroughfares quickly. Once construction subsidies, it seems as if it should be reasonable. During off peak hours, it’s very manageable and quite convenient to downtown Dallas and other surrounding communities."
    • Leonard.davis44

    • jshultz1017

"In my area of northern Southlake, properties are large and have more than fifty feet of front and back yards. Properties are well fenced so pets have plenty of space to play and roam unattended with fenced areas. "
    • Wchubb

"I have lived in five cities including internationally. I have lived in Southlake twice. Southlake is a very unique place with a true community spirit, lack of multi-family and great amenities. Hard to beat. "
    • Emmakcorbett
"This neighborhood has beautiful yards. You can’t find homes that are built on lots like this anymore. The schools are wonderful but the taxes make it not worth it. "
    • Mickb33
"I’ve lived here for 22 years and watched it grow. We still have a country feel within minutes from the best the city has to offer"
    • Joe
"I Moved here three years ago mainly for the schools. We have found a warm and welcoming community beyond the excellent schools. The shopping is excellent entire city is safe. The parks are great too!"
    • Bbeakley
"High quality homes, spacious lots, choice of Southlake OR Trophy Club/Northwest schools. For anyone looking for a quiet place to settle down, raise a family this neighborhood has to be one of the best in the USA. Everyone is friendly, neighbors look out for each other - including kids and pets. Frequent neighborhood get-togethers make it easy to get to know people. Homes are immaculately kept. Highly recommended!"
