Description

Quiet, private, surrounded by nature and beautiful ocean views from the second floor! I am looking to sublet my fully furnished 2 story, 800 sq ft home with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, washer/dryer in unit. Enjoy the quiet and peaceful nature and also be only a 5 minute drive or 10 walk to the quaint/upscale area of Sausalito with numerous cafes, shops, restaurants, the waterfront and 5 minutes further to downtown Sausalito with bars, restaurants, art galleries, the ferry and more. Newly built, I was the first to live here this past year, and I keep it well maintained. It has two bedrooms, and a smaller living room, the second bedroom downstairs has a full sofa/pull out bed, Tv, dresser etc so it can be used as an office/exercise are/guest room etc. The bedroom upstairs has a full balcony overlooking the water and nature surrounding it! The bed has a brand new pillow top mattress bought a month ago and brand new bedding. You will have a private parking space as well as a back hill with steps to go on walk on the other side of the house, as it is located up a private driveway with only a few homes. The home in front is the landlord in which you will share parking in the large driveway. It is a private home, with hummingbirds, blue jays, deer, fox at times and more roaming and flying around, there is also a few hummingbird feeders available to use as they are always around. San Francisco is literally less then 10 min drive over the GG Bridge from my home so you have Marin all around you and SF only a few minutes away! I'm looking for a respectful, clean and good person to sublet this beautiful place. Must have references, proof of income/finances and no smoking/drugs or excessive guests. My dates to sublet could be flexible, but I am looking for June/July - September. The full rent will include all utilities, wifi etc $5500.00 (Please feel free to reach out though now and ask or come see it will go quickly as its the best time to be in Northern Cali).

The full rent includes all utilities, including Wifi. This is a sublet, I am looking to sublet between 2-4 months starting mid June - mid July with a 2 month minimum. If the right fit/subletter wants only 2 months, that is good or we can also discuss extending it if they decide to.

  • Megan M.
"There are a lot of community events in Sausalito. I don’t actually attend them though, but I like that they take place and I think that if I had a family I’d go to them"
  • Shawna
"Fast cars driving on the small and narrow streets. It enough poop bag stations in the neighborhood "
  • Sharna
"It’s a great neighborhood to walk in but there are not a lot of sidewalks. So you have to constantly listen for cars, which unfortunately are often driven too fast without a lot of considerations for pedestrians.. "
  • Shawna
"Small streets and cars can get close when walking dogs. But most people are very pet friendly and like seeing the dogs"
  • Megan M.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 5 years. I'm looking to move into a larger house and I know I want to stay in Sausalito. It's convenient to get to central and northern Marin as well as close enough to SF. Having the water so close by is wonderful!"
  • Megan M.
"Super easy. I commute against rush hour traffic each direction. Right now I am working from home, so I do not commute at all. "
  • Teriklang
"The community of residents is mostly fantastic. The schools are somewhat lackluster but are trying to get better. "
  • Jean
"There is a Sausalito art festival every year annually and lots of great restaurants within walking distance "

"Lots of fun kiddo things to do. Bad grade school (K-5th) public schools. The middle school and high schools are in the next city up ( one exit) and are quite good. Otherwise, the southern marin mothers group is very active here for noms of young kids and there are several fantastic private school for all educational philosophies. Overall, a great city for kids. Lots of tourist activity, but strong neighbor support. Lots of parks public spaces and restaurants that are kid friendly. "
  • Jorge P.

  • Helen T.

"I just moved in this month. But so far the best part about Sausalito is the community. Everyone is SO kind and neighborly here. Shocking moving from the city where it’s the opposite. "

  • Jenn
"Boat parade, art festival and fourth of July parade are always fun. We love the playground, library and jazz by the water in the summer. "
  • Helen V. T.
"The roads are narrow and windy, and without footpaths, it’s not the safest for walking dogs. The trails nearby are great though!"
  • Jenn

  • Helen V. T.
