Description

You turn onto the property and the pace of life begins to shift. As you make your way down the private drive, surrounded by mature trees and open sky, there's a quiet realization--this place is yours. The world you left behind feels miles away. Set on more than 20 acres in one of Redding's most sought-after neighborhoods, this nearly 2,900 sq ft home isn't just where you live--it's how you live. Mornings begin in the sunroom, coffee in hand, as golden light stretches across rolling hills. Inside, the home welcomes you with a natural flow open, light-filled spaces that feel both elevated and effortless. Every room feels intentional, designed for comfort without sacrificing style. Outside you finally have space to build, create, or simply breathe. The detached shop becomes whatever you need it to be, while the land itself offers something harder to find: freedom. In the evenings watch the sky put on a show where the wraparound deck becomes your front-row seat. And if you choose to venture out, you're only minutes from some of the area's best premier golf courses, beautiful lake access, and everything that makes Redding a hidden gem. Don't miss this home, where space, privacy, and possibility come together in a way that's increasingly rare. OPEN HOUSE Saturday 5/9 11am-1pm!!!

"We live out in the country, we have 3 1/2 acres and electric fencing. We have a security gate. But we can be at the movies or Macy’s in 9-10 minutes. Parents should know to keep their children, pets and home safe with cameras and ADT."
  • Jennifer J. H.
"I lived in this neighborhood for 7 years. The only thing that unique was there is only one-way in & one-way out. So people don’t usually come up here unless they live here or are visiting. Seems to be a safety perk. "
  • Seema M.
"I see people walk their dogs around the area. I see also people running and walking daily. It’s close to Save More grocery store which have reasonable prices. There is gas station near by and pharmacy."

"Game nights with our neighbours. Once or twice a month we will get together with the folks nextdoor and play games"
  • Mgardiner75
"Anywhere in Redding is approx 15 minutes. Car thefts are high. Theft in general is high. Beautiful city. We moved here in 1991 and the parks were safe for kids. Now, kids come upon syringes etc. making it unsafe. The homeless problem is horrible as they steal and are at every corner begging for money. I’m so looking forward to leave this city after retirement. Mount Shasta and SHASTA lake are nearby. Mt Lassen is also close by to the East. Beautiful areas for hiking. "
  • Susan W.
"U can walk around with your dog no problem owners use leash an pick up after their dog. People respectful"
  • Wendelyn L. H.
"I don’t know. I don’t own a dog or have any idea what type of neighborhood they need. We do have a dog park nearby "
  • Susan W.
"My truck stolen off my driveway 3 mos after I moved here do I have a bad taste here. I drive to work and have to pass all the homeless in the community park by the library n next to police station lots of fight I can’t go to library. People passed out on sidewalks downtown redding. Why do I pay taxes for police here they dont do much"
  • Lonewolf2kz
"not a place for the Family Herion Addicts Buy and selling freely in the neighborhood. have witnessed people cruising the streets buying proposing the streets to buy from them with out thought of the health and Well-being for the Children. "
  • Thadtreece
"We love the community and neighbors , close to the convention center, so lots of concerts and events close by."
  • Thadtreece
"We are close to the fireworks and kool April nights, concerts, the rodeo. We are close to turtle bay and the sundial bridge, and lots of river trail access."
  • Mgardiner75
"Quiet and well maintained. Partially away from the vagrants who are all over town. Would I recommend Redding to anyone..no, crime is too high, thefts everywhere and u can’t go out at night in some areas of Redding. "
  • Djaimommy
"Quite and peaceful. Neighbors all keep it themselves, but are very friendly. Close to the river trail and beautifully kept neighborhood."
