"Not the greatest schools. Homeschooling is an option. Surrounded by nature. No fast food. Small quiet town. Close to Yosemite. Part time, full time and vacation renters are the population. Only 1 grocery store. "
  • Anita5716
"Strict leash laws , and nice dog park close by. The dog park has areas for small dogs and one for large dogs."
  • rbmclaughlin
"Great community for those that enjoy the outdoors. Very safe for children, but would keep them from riding or walking on PM drive."

  • Sptrain98
"This area is very desirable, a gated community whose homeowner's association supports many activities, including tennis, swimming, boating, fishing, horseback riding, golf, hiking, a motorhome campground, a quiet rural lifestyle, friendly people, and several nice restaurants both in Pine Mountain Lake itself and also in and near Groveland. It is an hour from Yosemite Valley, a half-hour from Greenwood Lodge and the Camp Mather area, and a half-hour from Sonora, slightly more to Columbia or Twain Harte. It is less than a half hour to Lake Don Pedro. There are also three beaches, a stables (where horses can be rented) and an airport, not to mention the tennis courts."
