On a positive note, this school is very good with education, and special need services. HOWEVER THEY LACK IN PROTOCOL AND IN SAFETY - Another child threatened my child stating they would bring a gun to school today to shoot and kill my child. The school took this very lightly , left me a voicemail stating they needed to speak with me in regards to a "mean comment" made to my child during lunch and that it was not urgent. I called back only to find that it was in fact urgent. Upon my arrival the other parents refused to speak to me, & I did not receive much concern from the principle, the school staff or the teacher. Ultimately, there were no consequences for the child. In addition to this , a couple months ago some older boys shut my daughters face in the cafeteria door , gave her a black eye and busted her nose. The principle said my daughter lied and there were no consequences for those boys either. It is very clear that the safety of our children does not apply at this school .

I was search by admin it was weird cause I’ve been searched before but never like this she made be pull my pants down I was very uncomfortable did not like how they did it felt like a sexual assault it kept going off on my crotch area but it’s cause I have pins to connect to my pants but I like very baggy pants but it was so uncomfortable but Js hope they don’t do nothing like that anymore

This school is honestly the worst middle school ever. If you're not a white mormon they don't care about you. Kids harass anyone slightly different than them and the teachers nor staff will pay any mind to it. i was a student here and this school hasn't changed at ALL. Kids are racist, homophobic, sexist, and much more. bullying here is serious. plus, the teachers are VERY weird. We should be able to use the bathroom without passes, using the bathroom is NOT a privilege and if teachers deny students, that IS a form of child abuse. when kids are bullied here, the oppressor is given 2 day suspension and that's it. If you have other options, please go with the other schools. I would never imagine that people can be so cruel.
