North Grand H.S is an amazing school all team players go way and beyond to help their students my son has an IEP and gets help from educational to emotional, They even brought my family food groceries cook meals when we all caught covid to make us as comfortable as they could. My son has gone from getting physically sick not wanting to attend to school to graduating in May 2024 first semester all A’s thank you to you all at North-Grand High school!!

The schools is over all competent academically. But the teachers don’t really encourage students to do better, they let them stay where they are. There’s parents assisting in school activities and some parents act like they’re there to parent rather than to do a job some speak to the students or yell at them as if they were their own child, that’s not ok. I understand the post pandemic chaos and shortness in personnel but they have this security guard at the door doing several jobs that aren’t part of his responsibilities, and that gives him privileges to over step and act as a teacher/monitors/supervisor/Clerck/and transit police, giving children and parents attitudes and engaging in arguments and the assistant principal to save money on hiring three people and take some load off him will make excuses for him so if you want action you have to jump the chain of command and contact the super intendent or school board from the start. Just saying, if they allow the security guard to bully imagine how they take action against other students bullying .
