Van Allen is a wonderful elementary school! My child has thrived there. The school staff and teachers are welcoming, dedicated, and highly qualified. They build strong relationships with students, manage classrooms effectively, and adapt to diverse learning needs while holding high expectations for all. The principal is highly visible, engaged, and involved with students and their families. The school has a positive community type of feeling, is clean and safe, and has a very active and supportive Parent Teacher Club.

"There are 3 playgrounds within walking distance of our house. We ride our bikes there almost every afternoon! The community garden is also a wonderful walkthrough and place to relax with neighbors. "

"My family has lived in Ripon many years now. Lots of people have relocated here from the SF Bay Area, including myself. It’s a small town, most folks are friendly and nice people. The police force is the best of the best. It’s pretty safe place to live."

"Best place to raise my boys in Ripon. Ripon is quiet, peaceful town with rules to help your community stay peaceful. Cameras around town to keep the City Safe that Ripon Police monitor. Clean streets and no trash or cars in the grass. Pet noise ordinance after 10pm. Kids and teenagers ride bikes and skateboard around town. Great Elementary schools K to 8th. Bedroom community "
