"I've lived In North Miami my entire life. The city is responsive to residents needs and many beautification programs are taking place giving the entire area a fresher look. NM is an affordable place to live w/lots of parks, horseback riding, nature trails and activities, annual parade. NM has always been family friendly with lots of city organized programs throughout the year. The schools in NM are also good. North Miami Senior High is an A rated school and there are lots of magnet programs available in the city. We also have a number of private, faith-based schools and churches. NM also supports a number of civic organizations and workshops for adults. NM is conveniently located for restaurants and shopping. The beach and 2 airports are close by. NM also has 2 universities located within its city limits (FIU and Johnson & Wales) with others just minutes away (Barry, St. Thomas, MDC, etc). NM also has a wide range of housing choices, from middle class homes, affordable housing (apartments) to upscale condos and residences right on Biscayne Bay."
