I attended this school from 1980-1982. The faculty and administration has not changed in their values and objectives for the past 34 years. The school is very attentive to the needs of the children and is located in a very secure area. Meaning no heavy traffic or candy stores or distractions. I also returned to give a talk to the children 30 years later and they were very acute and perceptive.

No just no. I attended this school I stayed for about a month and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna leave There’s just fights everyday every minute every hour and I’m not exaggerating it there liltreally fights everyday just no don’t bring your kids here.

As a parent who has been involved in education for over 15 years, I can confidently say this school has a lot of work to do when it comes to leadership and accountability. My daughter currently attends this school, and while she enjoys it because it’s a very laid-back environment with little structure or consequences, that same lack of structure has caused serious problems for us as a family.My daughter receives accommodations that are protected by law, yet one of her teachers refused to provide her with the extra time and extensions she is legally entitled to. I reached out to the principal for support, expecting them to step in and help resolve the issue. Instead, the principal completely sided with the teacher, showing clear bias and no understanding of how accommodations are supposed to work.What made the experience worse was the lack of professionalism and empathy. Rather than taking the time to listen and address the problem, the principal dismissed my concerns and made me feel as though my daughter’s rights were a burden or an inconvenience. I eventually had to go above the principal and reach out to the district office to get the issue properly handled. Thankfully, the district stepped in and resolved the problem — but that should never have been necessary.This was a deeply disappointing experience. Parents should not have to fight this hard to make sure their children are treated fairly and according to the law. A principal’s job is to lead, to protect students’ rights, and to support both teachers and families — not to pick sides or ignore valid concerns.Until there is stronger, more professional leadership at this school, I would advise other parents to be cautious and to advocate firmly for their children.
