Amazing school my kids love the environment, teachers & staff

There is still much discrimination at this school. Some white kids with throw the N word around like its nothing. LGBT kids are treated like they are 2nd class. A lot of the teachers are like this too. Some teachers are good but a lot don't teach and you have to do it yourself. A lot of kids here don't respect adults or people that are different from them. Anything they do for "mental health" is to make them look better. My mental health keeps dropping every day I go. They only care about appearing like they are some outstanding school. Please don't let your kid go here. I'm only making it through this because of the few friends and few teachers that make this school bearable. I don't think the parents reviews really shine light at what going on here because they don't go and experience life here. You might get good grades here but unless you are the cookie cutter they want, you're mental heath will suffer.

We love Durham. The new Principal and the fantastic teachers making learning fun while maintaining high standards. There is a very involved PTO and everyone is welcome to support the school. Durham has a small town feel with great opportunities.

As a substitute, subbing here was amazing! The students were very polite and they are ready to learn! I was impressed with how they behaved. The faculty/staffs were very welcoming! One of the teachers asked me to join their table during lunch time so I don't feel alone! Wow! I would definitely come back and sub there again!

This is a great school. We have 2 kids in high school and one in elementary school. Please note that the Great School scores are incorrect because this campus is only for first years and sophomores. Otherwise, it would be one of the best schools in Texas.
