6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 2 children in this school for all 4 years of high school and Racism, racism! I thought it got better with the new principal but they proved me wrong today and failed my child from online bullying from another fellow Gilbert high WHITE student. They played investigation and my child showed screenshots and proof but they denied the claim. That child and her mother walked off laughing. The administrators have values and a vision that prioritizes student growth and learning. The teachers care deeply about students' overall academic wellbeing. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandson moved to Gilbert from Texas a year ago. When he arrived at Val Vista Lakes Elementary, it was really hard to understand his speech. I also knew he was very bright, but he didn’t seem to be showing any significant academic achievement. Since starting at Val Vista, they immediately got him the speech therapy he needed, and his speech has improved 100%. He has thrived in his classes and is now performing at the level I knew he was capable of. He is excited about school and loves his classmates and teachers. It is such a positive environment and has made such a difference in my grandson’s life. It must be a happy place because there is a very low teacher turnover rate. And there’s a great sense of community I have felt when I have attended activities there.Other Review1y ago
