Home is located on a quiet and safe cul-de-sac with kind neighbors. Lot size is 1 acre with conservation area in backyard. Lots of owls, hawks, bats, cardinals, hummingbirds and many other birds as well as bunnies and frogs! This is a great walking neighborhood with lots of options for running from the house. Two tennis and pickleball courts just 1.5 miles from home in Nye Park. Many gyms are nearby including two YMCAs, EOS, Crunch and several LA Fitness. Within 20 minutes of two excellent paved trails for bike riding, skating, running, walking... Suncoast Trail and Flatwoods Park. I've lived in this neighborhood for many years and it's a great location. Just 25 minutes to downtown Tampa, less than an hour to many beaches. Close to many shopping opportunities and a new Publix is minutes away.
This is a 5 bedroom/3 bathroom home with the female homeowner and one friendly goldendoodle. The homeowner is a scientist with the government and works a hybrid schedule (1-2 days in office/3-4 days remote) during the weekdays. Shared spaces include kitchen, living room, laundry room, dining room and back deck. The guest's bedroom and bathroom are private with lockable doors. There is a dedicated parking space in the driveway for the guest. The private bedroom includes a double bed, two nightstands with lamps, two closets, one dresser, one bookcase, a Smart TV and two windows with blackout curtains. Bed linens and towels are provided as well as full access to bathroom cleaning supplies. A maid service cleans entire home once per month.
The kitchen includes a microwave, gas stove and oven, full refrigerator, dishwasher, french press, coffee grinder, kettle, crock pot, Instapot, pots and pans as well as all silverware, dishware and utensils. Excellent filtered drinking water is accessible from the fridge and sourced from a deep well onsite. There are five bar seats at the kitchen bar. The laundry room includes a newer washer and dryer, laundry tub, full-size ironing board and iron with steaming option. Flooring throughout the home is tile and vinyl plank so no carpeting to reduce allergens.
The family room includes comfortable leather couches, Samsung smart TV, pool table, fitness equipment and space for yoga, free weights and high impact training classes streamed from the TV. The homeowner is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys triathlon, strength training and teaches yoga at a nearby studio.
Rent includes: utilities, paper goods (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels), cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, garage storage space, shared pantry space, fridge space and access to seasonings and condiments. Once a month, a maid service comes to clean the entire house. You also have two sets of towels, two sets of sheets, blanket, duvet cover and insert. There are blackout curtains on the two bedroom windows. A desk and chair can be provided in the bedroom upon request.
You may bring a dog or cat with you; however, there is no fenced yard. My dog, Maggie, is a friendly rescue goldendoodle, and big (80 lbs.).
I am flexible with the length of lease. We can do month-to-month, 6 months, or a year-long lease.
Flexible lease terms are available, including month-to-month or a mutually agreed-upon longer-term lease. A signed room-rental agreement, security deposit, and initial cleaning fee are required. Rent is due on the first of each month. Utilities, WiFi, and monthly maid service are included in the monthly rent.
The tenant will have a private furnished bedroom and private bathroom, along with use of the home's shared living spaces, kitchen, laundry, outdoor areas, and designated off-street parking.
