What Locals Say about Overtown
- Miguel O. P. .

"You see people walking their dogs all the time. My condo does not allowed pets but others do. So it means there are some properties pet friendly and others not. But in general I see as much dogs as in other neighborhoods"

"I work remotely. But this community is close to several train, bus, and free trolley stations/stops. "

"I worked near there, out of an office there, and lived on the edge of Overtown. Generally people cared about each other. Possibly there could have been some reluctance to be involved in a dispute. You didn't know what the outcome would be, and on their own people appeared to try not to hurt each other. I think the crime stats listed here are the worst for months on Trulia. This does cause concern. "

"this place sucks and is a poor area that is being taken over by the rich brickell area people for space and building new high rises for the rich and displacing the working poor"
