"great house located in a very nice area with wonderful neighbors!!"
  • reedrichard99
"Nice place to live in the Belle Terre sub-division of LaPlace. There is an active Civic Association (Belle Terre Civic Association - BTCA). We have lived in the area for over 10 years...never any trouble personally...always a few crimes here and there...but we work hard to keep the community nice. Nice related neighborhoods around most of Belle Terre...golf courses throughout Belle Terre and boardering. No real traffic...but LaPlace is basically a bedroom community for Metairie, New Orleans...and even towards Baton Rouge. Good Catholic schools nearby....public schools are truly improving but still need some work. Recreation in the area is somewhat lacking...but there if you look for it. Some of Belle Terre area homes flooded in the last Hurricane...but first time Belle Terre ever flooded...not all homes flooded (mine did not and only one on my street did...). Give Belle Terre a good look before buying elsewhere...."
  • Jane123
"Nice, quiet area. Sidewalks for walking, back yard area wide open and spacious. Great school - LaPlace Elementary - being totally rebuilt close by. Also has a nice park and walking area for kids across from school. Close to stores, churches."
  • Dawne
"I think it is a clean quiet safe area to live for families and retired couples"
