About this House

1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in downtown Shorewood! Close to UWM, blocks to Atwater beach, 2 blocks to Metro Market Grocery Store.

I have lived in this apartment for the last year, and as I am leaving Milwaukee I am having to re-rent this unit. I have absolutely loved living here, close to the action, but still a nice quiet place to call home!

1 large bedroom, large living room, dining room, bathroom and kitchen (with a gas range!!). There is PLENTY of closet space in this unit, with closest in the bedroom, entry way, and a BIG closet in the living room.

The western wall is COVERED in windows, so the unit gets a ton of light throughout the day. This is a corner unit, with only 1 shared wall.

CAT FRIENDLY WITH ONLY A $15 a month extra rent!!

HEAT IS INCLUDED IN RENT-RENTER PAYS ELECTRIC
Laundry facilites in the basement along with a big personal storage unit.

Street parking available right outside the building-parking has never been an issue for me, and I have been able to park outside without issue. Additional parking is available through the Village of Shorewood.

Unit is available January 1, however there is a possibility for a move in date a few weeks early if needed. This apartment is great for students and professionals.

Let me know if you would like additional pictures, or have any questions!

This is a re-rental, so I will pass your information on to Shoreline Real Estate for approval. This is NOT a sublease and would require a new lease. My original lease was 6 months, then went mont to month after that.
Please contact me with any interest,

My original lease was 6 months, with a month to month following. Renter pays for electric, heat is included in rent.

  • Robin Reed
"There are many dogs in our area, because we have many places to walk them, although there is no off leash area designated, people seem to be pleased to see your dog if you train it in leash and pick up after it. "
  • Trulia User
"Itโ€™s a unique part of Milwaukee, close to the lake, Atwater Beach, Lake Park, Urban Ecology Center, UWM and Shorewood Town center. "
  • Trulia User

  • Lbenning04
"Lots of park space as well as a bike trail. Many local restaurants and bars. Community is very diverse. "

"There is access to public transportation and freeways. However, getting to the west side can be a challenge. "
  • Beth
"Driving in the north shore is typically pretty painless. You need to be aware of pedestrians. Lake drive can be a bit of a nightmare if you donโ€™t time it right."
  • Urensj
"We have many events all times of the year. Which is unique is the streets will get shut down to accommodate the event. Awesome!"
  • Ekrivitz
"Good schools, family friendly, lots of things to do and walk to. Itโ€™s a good neighborhood for families. Lots of kids."
  • Christina
"Very nice area with great access to shops and stores. People often walk their dogs and jog around. Very nice neighbors with access to the freeway. "
  • Desty Lorino
"I sell houses in that area so my commute is within a few square miles. I Iโ€™ve lived in Shorewood most of my life so I know the area quite well. Itโ€™s easy to get to public transportation and there are several routes downtown the most pleasant is the drive along the lake. If youโ€™re job takes you to outer suburbs the freeway is close and the commute is opposite of the norm so itโ€™s much easier than the other. "
  • Patricia S.
"This is a nice city area, but for the same reason it is a city and the roads aren't too safe if your dog is freed."
  • Nestor G.
"Shorewood is Amazing. My son just moved here to work from New Jersey. We love this place. The homes are beautiful. The areas are so well built. Old and very charming. Very well spaced out. There are trails and beaches you can swim in. The roads are made of concrete so there arenโ€™t any potholes. Very, very beautiful area. "
  • Niteshlakhwani
"calm neighborhood beautiful nature and birds chirping all day beautiful trail, Eastbrook park and lake across the street "
  • Heralyt
"Walking and biking friendly community. Pizza and bakeries within walking distance. Neighbors share and work and celebrate together."
  • Mschmidtdess
"This is a great little village. People are friendly, you can walk or bike everywhere, weโ€™re located near the university and a bike path that can take you quickly to the lakefront or museum or, in the other direction, north to Cedarburg. Thereโ€™s everything youโ€™d need in one place. "
  • Heralyt
"Walking and biking friendly Village. Great schools and family friendly neighborhoods. Easy access to both Lake Michigan and Milwaukee River. "
  • Photojacob S.
"Iโ€™m right but the bus line as well as across the street from the oak leaf trail and Well as very walkable from the lots of places! "
