We love Fratney! Great school and being Spanish immersion is such a huge benefit.

My children attended Gaenslen for Summer Academy, but unfortunately, we withdrew them after just a few days due to several concerning experiences.From the beginning, communication was poor—we never received a confirmation of acceptance and ended up showing up a day or so late. When we did arrive, the reception was cold. On multiple mornings, my family was met with unwelcoming stares and what felt like resentment from staff. It was disheartening, especially when your children walk in happy and excited, only to be met with energy that feels quite the opposite.The turning point for us came when my 8-year-old daughter shared that a staff member yelled in her face over something as simple as taking a second milk—something that was allowed. She tried to explain, but was cut off and repeatedly told to sit down in a harsh and intimidating tone. She described the staff member bending down to yell at her with hands on their knees, face-to-face. My daughter cried the entire walk home, saying she had never been spoken to like that by an adult.After that incident, I chose not to return. The indifference we experienced from the office staff and guards made it clear that raising a concern would likely lead to more frustration. I chose to protect my peace and my children’s emotional well-being.I don’t recommend this program based on our experience. Children were expected to display a level of behavior and emotional control that was not mirrored by some of the adults charged with caring for them.

this school is so unsafe the assistant principal talk any kind of way to the children and when my parents came to him about the class being disturbed he js rubbed it off i do not recommend this school for your children they let people who don’t even got to the school come in and look for another student who knows what could of happened if that student was there or if the teacher didn’t stop them this is just unacceptable

In my personal opinion as a student who goes to Messmer High School, And started going here around my freshman year which was when the pandemic started. The virtual school was more coordinated then the In- person learning and had a better balance at the work that had been assigned to students for my experience. There's overwhelming amounts of work at high expectations assigned in short periods of times that leaves students drained, exhausted, and unmotivated. Furthermore the teachers are okay, It just depends on who you have and if there understanding enough to adapt to what works best for you to learn better as a student but if not your most likely to fail that class. In my experience, the emotional support here is alright but it could always improve the guidance counselors are nice and the overall staff members are neutral at being supportive. They offer lots of courses and chances to earn extra credits and credits you missed if you take the opportunity to take it serious which I find great because it gives students like myself an advantage. However, Messmer is not for everyone. And if you feel like you just want to get through school without high expectation put on you and they're quick to inform your parents of anything you do or something that happens in the school, I would definitely consider another school for you if you can't handle that.

On the outside, an impressive character laden building located in a quiet and friendly community. On the inside, an exemplary institution that features modern amenities and educational tools, and provides an overall safe and secure environment.Both of my children attend this school, and I’m very impressed with their academic development. Lessons are not limited to academics, but also include elements of kindness and morality. Special education assistance is available for students who require it.The interpersonal atmosphere between the families reminds me of a tight-knit, small town faith-based community. “Meal trains” are offered for families in need of temporary assistance. There are frequent social functions that bring parents and faculty together.Students of all ages are offered multiple opportunities to participate in athletics, performing arts, and other group activities.During Lent, the parish offers a Friday Fish fry with reasonable prices, good options, and ample portions. Dine in or carryout available.Overall, I highly recommend both this school and parish.
