We have children in multiple grades at Campbell and have been more than pleased with the school! All the teachers are caring and work hard to ensure that my child is comfortable in the environment and grows academically. It is a diverse school where ALL students and families are valued. There are multiple programs that make this school unique including a full media production studio, creative action arts integration during and afterschool, performing arts programs including step, dance and cheer and prime-time after school/summer enrichment programs. My children have all found ways to be increasingly engaged in school through these programs. Principal Moore is an exemplary leader and the students and teachers thrive under his leadership. We appreciate how caring and firm he is with the students. The students know the expectations and are rewarded for their hard work. We are zoned to a highly ranked school and chose to do a transfer to Campbell after touring many campuses. We truly believe Campbell is a hidden gem and are happy that we found it!

My first son graduated from McCallum in 2022. While there are some challenges at McCallum, it is a good school that offers students a range of different opportunities. Our son enjoyed the business courses. He also took advantage of many different opportunities for advanced learning, including AP and community college classes. My second son is currently a 10th grader at McCallum. He has enjoyed French and engineering, in addition to core classes. My younger children look forward to the theater and dance programs at McCallum, which are among the best in the state.

This school might've been good before, but it has gone severely downhill. They are very short-staffed which means the teachers that they do hire are not good. I had one teacher where she didn't even teach. She just handed us notes and assignments. While she was grading for the final semester, she replaced my friends ungraded assignments with zeros because she didn't want to grade them. Most of the only interesting electives are gone because the teachers left. I remember I was in an elective that was supposed to have an overnight field trip and me and my friends were so hyped up for it but then it turned out that it was too late because they didn't order the charter buses soon enough or something. There are very minimal chances of being with your friend during lunch because we have 4 different lunch periods and even rarer to be in a class with your friend. However, I'm not saying that it's all bad. I had some really good and fun teachers in Kealing which really made it worthwhile but honestly I feel like most of the teachers just don't care.
